This training explains how children react to the world through their senses and how it impacts their behavior. It will address typical sensory reactions as well as problematic reactions. Parents, childcare providers, and teachers will gain core knowledge of sensory processing.

In this workshop, you will receive concrete strategies for changing children's behaviors at home and in the classroom. You will also learn how to judge when it is appropriate to use each strategy. There will be a variety of interventions discussed. The workshop will be focused on meeting everyone's individual circumstances. You will feel empowered with new skills that can be implemented into your home, classroom, or daycare.
This workshop can be taken alone, or in conjunction with "The Testing Child". Those who take both workshops will benefit from acquiring a greater depth of intervention skills.
